tig trager . born alexander trager in jersey city, new jersey in 1963 to jack and mary trager. when he was a child, he suffered horrific abuse at the hands of his father, spending as little time at home as possible, choosing to crash with friends. though he wasn't a very good student, he excelled in auto shop, realizing that he enjoyed working on cars. his first part time shop was at a local garage and it was then he had his first experience with the outlaw motorcycle club lifestyle. the owner of the garage was a member of a local chapter of a club. though he was still too young to prospect, he kept the idea in the back of his mind for the future.at 18, he graduated from high school and immediately enlisted in the marines. after serving his four years, he was stationed for reserves in california. it was here he became acquainted with clay morrow and john teller. once he finished with his reserve service and was discharged, he went to work for teller-morrow full time and eventually became a prospect for the club.after the death of john teller, he became clay morrow's right hand, the sergeant at arms for the club, keeping members in line and doing the dirty work clay wouldn't do. later, after the death of president jax teller, he served as vice president under chibs telford.

timeline.

1963 . Alexander Trager is born on February 21st
1981 . (18) Alex graduates high school and immediately enlists in the marines.
1985 . (22) Alex finishes his minimum four years of active service, settling down in California to begin his two years of reserve service
1987 . (24) After completing his reserve service, he is honorably discharged from the marines. around this time, he begins to work for Teller-Morrow Automotive.
1988 . (25) Clay Morrow becomes Tig's sponsor into the Son's of Anarchy.
1989 . (26) After a year of probation, Tig is officially voted into the club as a full member.
1993 . (30) John Teller is killed in what is presumed to be an accident. Clay Morrow takes over as President of Samcro.
1999 . (36) Tig is voted in as Sergeant at Arms for Samcro
2001 . (38) Tig is arrested in Oregon for assault and indecent exposure inside a livestock transport. He skips out on bail and returns to California.
